He is survived by: his brother Ray Showalter (Jeannie); his children, Rory Sweetser, Ann Turner (Danny), Jan Barnett (Fred) and Clint Showalter; his stepchildren, David Moss (Charlotte) and Lea Pate (Ralph); his grandchildren, JJ Williams (Katina), Melissa Mathis, Brian Hamilton (Amy), Brandi Hamilton Miller (Billy), Shelly Turner Poindexter (Michael), Afton Showalter, Daniel Moss, Jessica Moss, Carl Pate and Grant Pate; and his great grandchildren, Jessica Williams, Dillon Williams, Alexis Williams Bellmyer (Tanner), Kaedin Williams, Cameron Hamilton, Morgan Hamilton, Austin Miller (Lauren), Madison Miller, Eric Aguilar, Felicia Aguilar, Eliza Poindexter Lucero (Dominic) and Josiah Poindexter (Allison).
