He was predeceased by: his brother John Humes. He is survived by: his wife Margo Humes; his children, Carl Humes (Diane) of Rozet, Joe Humes (Tiffany) of Rozet and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Gentry, Kristen, Ian, Kip, Rhiannon and Dahlia; his great grandchildren, Lilly, Cade, Santiago, Antonio and Alejandro; and his brother Jim Humes of Moorcroft.
