He was predeceased by: his father Paul A. Buchanan; and his nephew Cade Buchanan Swierczek. He is survived by: his mother Pearl Frazier; his sisters, Dawn Buchanan (Craig Swierczek) of Rock Springs and Brenda Bunning (Dave) of Rock Springs; and his niece Tess B. Swierczek (Andy Petek) of Waco, Texas..
