She was predeceased by: her parents, Ysabel Portillo and Teresa Gutierrez; her children, Jerome Martinez, Lorenzo W. Martinez, Richard Martinez, James Martinez and Veronica Jackson; and her siblings, Ralph Portillo, Manual Portillo, Joseph Portillo, Richard Portillo, Ray Portillo, Peter Portillo, Julia Mondragon, Juana Abeyta, Clara Opfer, Ramona Ortez, Margaret Bell, Antonia Portillo and Mary Portillo.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Martinez of Fremont, Nebraska, Duane Martinez of LaShara, Nebraska, Rose Marie Petty of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Tina Jeffery of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Diane Elmer of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and her brother Jesse Portillo of Rock Springs, Wyoming. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
