He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ackerman of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and his children, Rick Ackerman (Corina) of Rock Springs, Kim Ackerman (Terry) of Rock Springs, Don Ackerman (Lisa) of Rock Springs, Laura Sprouse (Robby) of Rock Springs and Mechell Williams (Richard) of Rock Springs. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
