He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Anderson and Nellie Russell; his wife Roberta Jean Rodda; his daughter Janis Anderson; and his sisters, Clarissa Grisham and Bertha Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Bob Anderson (Diane) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Bill Anderson (Nancy) of Rock Springs and Joyce Hale (Kent) of La Barge, Wyoming; his sister Hilda Gordon of Lander, Wyoming; his siblings-in-law, Douglas Rodda of Rock Springs and Janet Rodda of Oregon; and his grandchildren, Mark, Rodney, D. J., Justin, Chris, Jason and Zach. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family respectfully requests donations in Russel's memory be made to Young at Heart Senior Citizens Center, 2400 Reagan Avenue, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901.
