He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry James Black and Marie Guerina Anelli; his grandson James Black; and his son-in-law Robert Flansburg. He is survived by: his former wife Ann Bersche; his wife Shirley E. Black of Rock Springs; and his children, James C. Black (Kathy) of Topsham, Maine, Denis A. Black (Lynette) of Merritts Island, Florida, Ray P. Black (Mary Beth) of Worland, Wyoming, William H. Miller (Beverly) of Rock Springs, Lory A. August (Dan) of Worland, Wyoming and Cathy J. Flansburg of Rock Springs. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; as well as several cousins.
