She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew S. Peterson and Margaret B. Bennington; her former husband Samuel E. Burns Jr.; her son Robert A. Burns; her close friend Jess Barrera; and her brothers, Ned Baker, Wilfred Baker, Peter Peterson and Harry A. "Bud" Peterson.
She is survived by: her sons, Matthew E. Burns and Steve Barerra (Janice) of Green River. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
