As Neil departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Neil may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Neil leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Brooks and Gladys M. Brooks (Piper); his wife Adele Brooks; and his stepson Craig Williams. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Scott Williams (Cindy) of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, V. Tye Williams (Pat) of Rock Springs, Wes Williams (Samara) of Superior, Colorado, Linda Raveaux (Greg) of Portland, Oregon, Valita Gwynn (Tom) of Woodlawn, Virginia and Sue Williams (late K. Craig Williams) of Columbia, Missouri; and his daughter Allison Brooks Britt of Thomasville, Georgia. He is also survived by 15 step grandchildren, 28 great step-grandchildren.
