It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mardell B. Pieper of Rock Springs, Wyoming, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Johnson and Wilma Johnson (Hashman); her husband John Pieper; and her siblings, Farren Johnson and Wendell Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Kent Pieper (Marla) of Myton, Utah and Holly Dabb (Randy) of Rawlins; her grandsons, RJ Pieper (Angela Thatcher) of Rock Springs, Matthew Jackman (Breanna) of Rock Springs, Jace Jackman (Trisha Moore) of Rock Springs and Lance Jackman; her half-brother Howard Johnson of Newport News, Virginia; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Johnson of Sheridan, Mary Zink of Brighton, Colo, Josie Mearns (Jack) of Shoreline and Ellen Monroe (Robert) of Fredrick, Colorado. She is also survived by 32 nieces and nephews.
