With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marcella Salazar of Rock Springs, Wyoming, born in Center, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman Garcia and Josephine Garcia; her husband Leo Salazar; her children, Eligio Salazer, Gilbert Salazar, Ruth Salazar and Bernadette Salazar; her grandchildren, JeriLee Black, Richard Arndt, Connie De Lohoz, Monica Salazar and Doug Martinez; and her great grandchild Skylar Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, John Garcia (Marian) of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Edna Arndt (James); her daughter-in-law Beatrice Salazar of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and her siblings, Don Garcia of Center, Arthur Garcia of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Mabel Garcia of Omaha, Nebraska. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
