He is survived by: his wife Marjorie "Marj" Schaefer of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his children, Christopher Schaefer (Maggie) of Rock Springs and Elizabeth Schaefer of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his siblings, Allen Schaefer of Gillette, Keith Schaefer (Brenda) of Powell, Wyoming, Judi Buckingham (Gary) of Powell and Joyce Bales (Tom) of Cody, Wyoming; his grandchildren, Nicholas Schaefer of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Emily Schaefer of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and his great grandchild Adlie Schaefer of Rock Springs, Wyoming. He is also survived by two aunts, one uncle and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
