He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben E. Wegner and Julia R. Drescher; and his siblings, George Wegner, Charles Wegner and Vivian Wegner.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Wegner of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his children, Richard Wegner of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Michael Wegner of Green River, Wyoming and Sherri Obert of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and his sister Loretta Horton of Sheridan, Wyoming. He is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
