It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Schanzenbach of Rock Springs, Wyoming, born in Mobridge, South Dakota, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert August Schanzenbach and Norma Schanzenbach. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Lorraine Schanzenbach of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his children, Aaron Joseph Wilcox (Jannel Fossen) of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Jenna Carol Nielson (Jesse) of Green River, Wyoming; his siblings, Robert Lee Schanzenbach (Sue) of Tea, Jay Alan Schanzenbach (Amanda) of Rapid City and Janice Lynn Goetz (Larry) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Haidyn Linn Terry, Korbin James Nielson, Genesis Bond and Victoria Wygans; and his great grandchild Milah. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
