He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Anastos and Marcella Murphy; and his son David Anastos. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Anastos of Green River, Wyoming; his children, John Anastos Jr. (Susie) of Green River and Debbie Shaw (Mark) of Green River; and his grandchildren, Chandra, Steve Martin, David Iwasaki, Ashley, Tony Soth, Matthew Anastos, Rilee Shaw, Danniellee Turner (Weston) and Kyle Delisser (McKenna). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hilltop Baptist Church (405 Faith Dr, Green River, WY 82935).
