He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jereb and Ana Rupar; and his siblings, John Frank, Vincent Anton, Albert, Joe, Stanley, Alfred, Albin, Mary, Stephanie, Anna Johanna and Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Jereb of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his children, Jacob "Jack" Jereb Jr. and Doris Slavinec of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his sister Cecelia Young of Las Vegas, Nevada; his sisters-in-law, Jean Spoden of Cold Spring, Minnesota and Diana Smith (Smitty) of Cave City, Arkansas; his grandsons, Joshua Jacob Isaacson and Sean Thomas Jereb; and his great grandchildren, Aizlynn Jereb and Daenerys Jereb.
