He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucien Cournoyer and Louise Cournoyer; and his brothers, Rene Cournoyer, Jean Cournoyer and Luc Cournoyer.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Anne Cournoyer of Rock Springs; and his sons, Alexandre (Marie Eve Cournoyer) and Benoit (Elizabeth Menrath).
