He was predeceased by: his wife Irene H. Jones; his parents, Nick David Nicksich and Josephine "Stephanie" Nicksich; his siblings, Paul Nicksich and Katheryn Doak; his stepgranddaughter Trinity Jones; and his nephew David Doak.

He is survived by: his sister Ann Ferraro of Arvada, Colorado; his stepson Rick Jones (Linda) of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his nephews, Rick Ferraro, Don Ferraro and Nick Nicksich; his stepgranddaughter Sandy Knoll (Steven); and his great grandchildren, Tristan Finn and Kinley Finn.
