He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol Belen Lopez; his grandson Steven Stevenson; and his brothers, Randal Stevenson and David Stevenson. He is survived by: his children, Gerald Stevenson (Shannon) of Douglas, Beau Stevenson of Murray, Utah, Christina Magagna of Rock Springs, Frankie Stevenson of Rock Springs, Andrea Braden (Scott) of Rock Springs and Michiko Saito of Japan; his sister Barbara Jones (John) of El Dorado, Arkansas; his grandsons, Thomas Jay Stevenson of Midvale and Michael C. Magagna of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and his wife Carol B. Stevenson. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
