With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gabriel Lamorie Sr. of Rock Springs, Wyoming, born in Aguilar, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Martinez and John D. Lamorie; his wife Catherine M. Lamorie; his son Gabriel Lamorie Jr.; his sister Matilda Farnsworth; and his granddaughters, Amber Jessen and Alexis Lamorie.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Lamorie of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Eric Lamorie (Carla) of Oregon, Debora Lamorie of Washington, Nicole Lamorie of Colorado and Tara Salitrik (Matt) of Rock Springs; and his siblings, Jean Jowers (Bill) of Louisiana, Sam Lamorie (Joan) of Louisiana and Richard Lamorie of Louisiana. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren; as well several cousins, nieces and nephews.
