With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Portillo of Rock Springs, Wyoming, born in Riverton, Wyoming, who passed away on January 19, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nash Apodaca and Jennie Apodaca (Valdez). She is survived by: her husband Jesse J. Portillo of Rock Springs, Wyoming; her sons, Jesse J. Portillo (Sue) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Johnny Portillo (Pam) of Saratoga, Wyoming and Michael Portillo of Mesquite, Nevada; her sister Cora Hernandez of Indio, California; and her grandchildren, Lana Elder of Saratoga, Wyoming, Devon Reinert (B. J.) of Centennial, Wyoming, Jesse Portillo III of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Sharif Portillo of Laramie. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; several cousins; nieces and nephews.
