He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Thomas Sumner and Betty Jean Davidson; and his brother-in-law Jim Eusek. He is survived by: his sisters, Sheila Ann Sumner Larsen (Lee) of Puyallup, Washington and Donna Marie Sumner Eusek of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his nieces and nephews, Drue Johnson (Erin) of Lebanon, Tennessee, Ty Johnson (Heather) of Bonney Lake, Washington, Eli Johnson (Michelle) of Graham, Washington, Austen Eusek of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Sarah Eusek of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Emilee Vander Linden (Brad) of Puyallup, Washington and Erica Westphalen of Midland, Texas; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Deven, Ayla, Kaleb, Addy, Isaac, AJ, Lucy (Cowboys), Caden, Jessie, Maxwell and Lennon.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (3101 College Dr, Rock Springs, WY 82901-3504). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
