It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Shaffer of Rock Springs, Wyoming, born in Hillsboro, Ohio, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Shaffer and Lucy Linkhart; her former husband Gerald Eagle; her husband Donald Schmidt; her siblings, Danny Shaffer, Shirley, Janie and Bonnie; her children, Gary Eagle and Cassie Kiehm; her son-in-law Geof Townsend; her granddaughter Selena Gines; and her nephew Rich.
She is survived by: her daughters, Regina Townsend of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Saundra Scaff (Von) of Texas and Renda Seymore of Massachusetts; her daughter-in-law Tina Burley of Rock Springs, Wyoming; her siblings, Donnie Shaffer of Ohio, Terry Shaffer (Dora) of Colorado, Darrel Shaffer of Colorado and Deb Sphinx (Gene) of Thorton, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Ronnie Justus, Nate Gines, Mike Gutierrez, Kenyon Gines (Bernadette), Kasha McKinster, Adam Allen, Reatanna Eagle, Harley Eagle, Lolly Eagle, Lianna Estabrook and Chase Allen. She is also survived by 37 great-great-grandchildren.
