It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Veesart of Rock Springs, Wyoming, born in Sterling, Colorado, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Louie Burhenn; her husband Larry Veesart; her mother Goldie Burhenn; her son Louie Veesart; and her sisters, Virginia, Wanda and Juanita.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Veesart (Teresa) of Yerington, Nevada, Mary Carlson of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Nona Stegall of Winnemucca, Nevada; her daughter-in-law Marilyn Veesart of Rock Springs, Wyoming; her sister Joyce Rose of Great Bend, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Amanda Santhanawit (Tommy), Jeremy DeWitt (Jacki), Brett Veesart (Krystyna), Brian Veesart (Carla), Wyatt Stegall, Christopher Veesart and Kenny Stegall (Tara). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, several cousins; nieces and nephews.
