Ann S. Strand Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ann S. Strand of Rock Springs, Wyoming, who passed away at the age of 95, on March 25, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Clifton and Agnes Cone Scott; her siblings, Carter, Hugh Scott, Theodosia (Theo), Olive, Esther and Sue; and her husbands, William H. Smith (Tubby) and Dan A. Budd.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Strand (Esther Parson) of Boulder, Scott Smith (Deb Baumer) of Pinedale, Craig Smith (Maureen Dempsey) of Pinedale, Shaun Nethercott (Wesley) of Detroit, Bret Strand of Cheyenne and John Strand of Rock Springs; and her brother John Scott (Jo) of Griffin. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Heart Senior Center (2400 Reagan Ave, Rock Springs, WY 82901-4531).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Ann's memory to the Western Wyoming Community College Foundation, 2500 College Drive, Section I-182, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901 or the Young At Heart Senior Center, 2400 Reagan Avenue, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901.
