He was predeceased by: his parents, William A Meckem and Mae Meckem; and his sister Violet. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Jon Meckem, Dawn Meckem and Kirk Meckem (Kristen); his grandchildren, Abigail, Graham, Miles, Sergei and Wolfgang; and his great grandchild Darwin William.
