He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Castro and Dora Castro (Sanchez); his sons, Kevin Shoopman and Benny Castro; and his siblings, Joel Castro, Carol Rose and May Slater.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Castro of Riverton, WY; his daughters, Geraldine Shoopman of South Dakota and Wendy Thormahlen (Lance) of Casper, WY; his sisters, Dee Jenson of Casper, WY and Julie Ingwerson of St. Stephens, WY; his granddaughter Cristie James; his great grandchildren, Kortni James (Charlie Tschacher), Kayleen James and Cole James; and his great great grandchildren, Zachary and Delilah Tschacher.
