It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sibilia Apodaca of Riverton, Wyoming, born in Tucumcari, New Mexico, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Avila and Maria Lovato Avila; her husband David Apodaca; her daughter Gloria Boyd; her granddaughter Shauna Martinez; her siblings, Lupe Taylor, David and Tony Avila; and her sons-in-law, John Roybal and Howard Schrinar.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Martinez (John) of Riverton, Ann Roybal, Cheyenne, Mary Schrinar, Theresa Rowell Riverton (Bruce), David Apodaca Jr. and Robert Apodaca Wright (Julie); and her brother Jack Martinez. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren.
