She was predeceased by: her parents, George Layton and Nellie Layton (Barger); and her brothers, Robert, Myron, Donald and Gordon Layton.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Benson of Riverton; her children, Shawna Emarine (Rick) of Silverthorn Colorado, Drue Ann Benson of Denver, Colorado and Mitch Benson (Kris Benson) of Kinnear, Wyoming; her grandchildren, Hunter Benson, Travis Benson of Humble, Texas and Harley Spicer of Kinnear, Wyoming; and her sister-in-law Marion Layton of Coleville, California. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
