It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pius Mathern of Riverton, Wyoming, born in Ingomar, Montana, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilius Mathern and Katherine Mathern (Kuntz); his wife Dorothy Mathern; his son Kenneth Mathern; and his siblings, Anna, Joseph, Mary, Rose, Emma, John, Daniel Frank and Eva.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Wagner (Roger) of Casper, Robert Mathern (Michele) of Riverton and Penny Pollard (Brent) of Riverton; his daughter-in-law Marilyn Mathern of Great Falls, MT; his grandchildren, Patrick Mathern, Waylon Mathern, Marty Mathern, Jerrell Mathern, Alex Mathern, Scott Wagner, Justin Wagner, Brett Wagner, Trista Wagner-Russell, Delayne Renner-Newton and Seth Mathern; and his pet Roxxy. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
