He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Pearl Alexander (Glasco) and Richard Alexander; his wife Barbara Alexander; his sister Betty Avery; and his son Danny Jo Alexander.
He is survived by: his children, Buddy Alexander (Lisa) and Brandy Alexander (Alan Putnam); his grandchildren, Gloria Hendricks (Steven Hendricks), Daniel Bryant (Wendy Bryant), Jasmine Alaniz (Roy Edwards), Adri Alexander, Amanda Alexander and Marsha Wright (Wayne Wright); and his brothers, Richard Alexander and Marvin Alexander. He is also survived by siblings; 29 great grandchildren.
