She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Friedlan and Gertrude Friedlan; her siblings, Herman Friedlan, Donna Imhoff, Gertrude Friedlan and Rita; and her husband Vern.

She is survived by: her son Thomas (Cindy); and her grandchildren, Wayne Thomas, PJ Thomas and Stephanie Thomas.
