He was predeceased by: his parents, William K. McKethen and Elizabeth McKethen (McGuire); his siblings, John McKethen, Joanie Ozbirn and Rodella Drips; and his grandson Marc Griebel.
He is survived by: his wife Sammie McKethen of Riverton, WY; and his children, William J. McKethen (Dede) of Polson, MT, Kari Griebel (Darwin) of Kinnear, WY, Connie Taylor (Kenny) of Miles City, MT and Joni Parks of Thermopolis, WY. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be sent to St. Margaret's School "Angel Fund" in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 West Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
