She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Monroe and Jeanette Joyce Baltes (Glandt). She is survived by: her husband Tom Hughes; her sons, Blaine Hughes (Gwenith Wachter) and Lyle Hughes (Jordan); her grandchildren, Hadlee, Dryson, Lawson, Declyn, Zoey and Hollis; and her brother Rodney Baltes (Alleta).
