He was predeceased by: his wife Estelle Lovato (Spencer); his parents, Francis and Eloy Lovato; his siblings, Eva Frances Lovato, Joseph Eloy Lovato Jr. and Joseph Arthur Lovato; and his granddaughter Krystal Teresa Fitzsimonds.
He is survived by: his siblings, Flora Apodaca (Lovato) of Riverton, Wyoming and James Lovato of Riverton, Wyoming; his brother-in-law Lewis Spencer (Betty) of Idaho; his aunts, Eloisa Walters of Riverton and Carolyn Perea of Casper, Wyoming; and his nieces and nephews, Nora, Celina, Rudy, Tommy and Mathew Apodaca of Riverton, Wyoming.. He is also survived by his six children, twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
