With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Samuelson (Riverton, Wyoming), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Whitlow (Price) and Forrest Whitlow; her brother Donald Whitlow; her stepfather Wilbur Mund; her husband Dee Samuelson of Paul's Methodist Church; and her daughter Beverly Lord.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Samuelson of Riverton, Judy Samuelson of Casper, Wyoming, Douglas Samuelson (Susan) of Cheyenne and Garland Samuelson (Roxy) of Riverton; her sister-in-law Joyce Thompson (Whitlow); her grandchildren, Samantha Phelps (Bryan), Mike Lord, Dan Lord (Natalie), Amanda Lord, Elizabeth Wood, Andy Samuelson (Jolene), Christie Coughanour (Matthew) and Brady Samuelson (McKenzie); and her great grandchildren, Alyssa Samuelson, Kyra, Jena, Ava Lord, Maggie, Abby, Emily Samuelson, Ellie, Owen, Emmitt, Isaiah, Shishira Coughanour, Axel, Everett, Ryan Claire Samuelson and Carter Reynolds.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Riverton United Methodist Church (1116 W Park Ave, Riverton, WY 82501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Mountain View Cemetery.
Memorials in memory of Doris may be given to the Riverton United Methodist Church or to a charity of choice in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 West Main St., Riverton, WY 82501.
