It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlotte Downey (Riverton, Wyoming), born in Basin, Wyoming, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Russel Williamson and Nina Eulala Williamson (Peavler); her husband Charles H. Downey (Chuck); her daughter Angela Koenig; and her sister Edythe Finely.
She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen Posey (Tim) of Laramie, Mary Jo Currey of Olympia, Erin Nuxoll (Randy) of Boise and Ginger Downey; and her grandchildren, Ryan Koenig, Brenda, Jill Boyd, Cindy Matson, Andrew Currey and James Downey of Portland Oregon.
Due to the COVID pandemic, funeral services will be private with only the immediate family attending.
