It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Burns in Riverton, Wyoming, born in Bridger, Montana, who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jares and Veronica Jares; and her granddaughters, Jennifer Shelton and Cathrine Zarn. She is survived by: her husband George Burns; her children, Kenneth (Susette), Philippines, Virginia Trotter (Ralph), Johnnie (Mary), Cindy Keinert (Allen), Susan Higgins (Dan) and Carol Richards (Bill); and her sisters, Georgia Zuefelt of Fairfield and Mary Pond of Laramie, Wyoming.. She is also survived by her loving husband of 71 years, her six children, ten grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Margaret's Catholic School, Abba's House, or a charity of the donor's choice.
