He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vance and Coralee Vance; his wife Marth Vance; and his great grandchild Syndey Ward. He is survived by: his children, Sherry Beedle-Hahn (William) of Rawlins, Coralee Espinoza (Ed) of Delta, CO, Kerry Martinez (Eddie) of Missoula, MT, Melissa Herrera (Bert) of Rawlins, WY. and Butch Vance (Debbie) of North Pole, AK.; his siblings-in-law, Dorthy Garcia of Riverton, WY, Delcy Moulder of Rawlins, WY, Ida Madrid of Colorado Springs, CO and Robert Roybal (Viola) of Rawlins, WY.; his grandchildren, Jessie Martinez Jr. (Jan), Timmy Martinez (Toni), Heather Taylor, Chadwick Vance, Ericka Gomez (Angel), Gianna Garcia (Josie), Keko Espinoza (Jolene), Jennifer Stalcup (Matt), Rachel Plenger (Kevin), Jason Martinez (Kim), Madori Ward (Josh), Chase O'Melia, Shay O'Melia, Joshua Herrera and Keona Herrera; his great great grandchildren, Brynlee Noel, Angel Noel and Sofia Espinoza; and his nieces, Suzette Durden (Rick), Vicki Moulder (Randy) and Terri McHugh (Mike).
