He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harry Parsons and Ida Martha Hammell. He is survived by: his wife Barbara W. Clark Parsons; his sisters, Joyce Klabunde (Dick) and Gwen Black Becker; his children, Barbara Lee Brophy (Jay), William Eugene Parsons (Tami) and Beverly Marie Theresa Wilts (Ron); his grandchildren, Calista Marie Selby (Edward), Emily Brophy, Faith Wailes (Don), Tawni Wollard (Andrew), Nicholas Stuckert (Ines), Joe Parsons and George Rowe (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Briella Selby, Kieran Selby, Olivia Parson, Ian Hanson, Abram Wailes, Elizabeth Wailes, Lauren Rowe, Brady Rowe and Evan Rowe.

In lieu of flowers a Bill Parsons Math Scholarship Fund is being established.
