He was predeceased by: his parents, Sakichi Ogawa and Yoshiye Ogawa; his former wife Emmy Yamasaki; and his siblings, Tadashi "Todd" Ogawa (Ida), Yoshinori "Yosie" Ogawa, Masanori "Mosa" Ogawa (Judy) and Mariko "Mud" Miyasaki (Tommy).
He is survived by: his wife Tak; his brothers, Tomatsu "Tom" Ogawa (May) and Ken Ogawa (Yuki); his children, Kim Ogawa, Kathi Ogawa of Issaquah, Washington, Craig Ogawa (Babette) of Loveland, Colorado and Jenny Ogawa of Wilsonville, Oregon; his grandchildren, Christine Harper (Nathan) of Saudi Arabia, Emmybeth Ogawa of Littleton, Nicolas Takashi Inouye of Los Angeles, Jack Ogawa of Loveland and Lian Ogawa of Loveland; and his great grandchildren, Garrison Kyoshi and Sage Takashi Harper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church, Heart Mountain Foundation, or NWC (Northwest College) Foundation.
