It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Henry Slater (Powell, Wyoming), who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard Henry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard Henry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Slater and Dorothy Paxton; his son-in-law Jesse Houck; and his pet Banjo. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Slater; his children, Geoff Slater (Melissa), Robert Slater, David Slater and Billie Johnson; and his granddaughter Olivia Capron (Robert). He is also survived by grandfather, Richard is survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
