It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Bjornestad (Powell, Wyoming), born in Nevada, Missouri, who passed away on November 15, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Slater and Roy Slater; her former husband Bernie; her sisters, Margaret, Stella and Bernice; and her brothers-in-law, Art Gifford, Bud Hocken and Keith Elton.
She is survived by: her former husband Bernard Bjornestad; her brother Steve Slater (Donna); and her children, Mike Bjornestad, Mark Bjornestad (Rita) and Barbara Kessler (Mark). She is also survived by six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
