He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julia C. Rasmussen Briggs and Floyd Louis Briggs, Sr.; his sisters, Beverly Malick and Judith Borwick (Richard); his wife Kathryn Jorgensen; and his daughters, Gayle Powers (Leonard), Janet Goulette (Jefferson), Linda Wolcott and Susan Stanfill (Sidney). He was also cherished by eight grand-children, eight great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or the Sublette Center.
