She was predeceased by: her parents, Max R. Higday and Vivian Iva Higday (Sisson); and her husband Jack Hilterbrand. She is survived by: her daughters, Princess Sanders (Dennis) and Sonja Larez (Joe); her sisters, Bunny Jones (Allan) and JoAnn Westerfield (Marlin); her grandsons, Aric Smith (Sara Raver), Jason Sanders (Kelly) and Kyle Sanders (Megan); her great grandchildren, Aiden Sanders, Linden Sanders and Lucy Sanders; and her close friend Marv Allerheilign.
