He was predeceased by: his parents, George Darden and Clara Darden; his siblings, George Matt Darden of Crane, TX and Margaret Cockrell of Lubbock, TX; his mother-in-law Mary Brees of Pine Bluffs; and his son-in-law Andy Wearin of Hyannis, NE..

He is survived by: his wife Marylyn Barricklow of Cheyenne; his children, Georgeann Wearin of Hyannis, NE and Jim M. (Derede) of Pine Bluffs; his sister Bess Pickron of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandchild Tucker Sheets (Melissa); his children, David, Lydia of Hyannis, NE and Coy Sheets (Mikaela); his grandchildren, Avery, Elsie, Lyle of Kinsey, MT and Dallas Bacon (Derek) of Cheyenne; and his child Brooke Darden of Laramie, WY. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
