He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Walker Bucknell and Rose Ann Mary Bucknell; his son Douglas Bucknell; his stepdaughter Denise A. Chamberlin; and his granddaughters, Candace Bucknell and Alizabeth Ratcliff.

He is survived by: his son James R. Bucknell of Lander, WY; and his siblings, David Bucknell (Marilyn), Tom Bucknell (Sunny), Art Bucknell (Pat), Dianne Hillman (Larry), Denise Wells and Debbie Thode (Phil). He is also survived by nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Saint Margaret's Angel Fund at 220 N 7th Street E. Riverton, Wyoming 82501.
