He was predeceased by: his parents, Orren McCollom and Mary Rankin Clyde McCollom; and his siblings, Ginger, Nancy, Susan, Tuffy and Wayne.
He is survived by: his former wife Marilyn Roby Tupa; his stepchildren, Carolee and Dee Tupa; his grandchildren, Misty Dawn, Derrick, Damon, Nik and Bobby; his significant other Dorothy Thomson; his stepchildren, Dawn Tiegs (Rick) and Brad Thomson Jr. (Carrie); and his siblings, Russell, Jim, Barb and Vicki.
Donations made in lieu of flowers will go toward Vernon's final expenses.
