He was predeceased by: his mother Verne Piper; his wife Ina Meyer of Witten; his mother Beatrice; and his brothers, Edward and Roland.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Murry (Charles) of Dallas, Gary Piper of Osage, Donna Tavegia (Bill) of Upton, Bonnie Bau (David) of Osage, Jerry Piper (Debbi) of Osage, Roger Piper (Katie) of Chicago and Lisa Wood (Mike) of Osage; and his brothers, Harold and Rodney Piper. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
