She was predeceased by: her father Robert "Bob" Alan Poel; her aunts, Pat, Carol, Alma and Mary; and her uncle Bobby.
She is survived by: her mother Lorna Jean Pansch; her husband Charles Sorenson; her daughter McKenna Sorenson (Geoff Porras); and her brother Scott Poel. She is also survived by extended family, including many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and many cousins.
